The Heritage at Millennium Park
In a city well-known for its varied and innovative architecture, Chicago’s new high-rise condominium, The Heritage at Millennium Park, preserves a sense of the past while rising to meet the future. Located between the city’s Cultural Center, a National Historic Landmark designed by Louis Sullivan, and the Loop’s Wabash Avenue, The Heritage is a skyscraper soaring above a base that incorporates the facades of the traditional stone, five- and six-story structures that it has replaced. The new structure combines a 57-story Skyline Tower north section with an outward-curving glass exterior, and a 28-story Park Plaza south section that features flowing, inward-curving lines. Residential units begin on the ninth floor–above ground-level retail shops and five full floors of parking–to provide unobstructed views of Millennium Park and the lakefront on the east, and glittering cityscapes on the west.
The blend of the sleekly new and the familiar traditional is carried into The Heritage’s residential units, which offer nine-foot ceilings and hardwood floors, fresh-air terraces and individually-controlled heating and ventilation systems. The Park Plaza section incorporates a dozen different floor plans, from 809-square-foot, one bedroom/one bath units to 2,000+-square-foot, three bedroom/three bath residences that can accommodate family living. Skyline Tower units all provide three bedrooms, including a master bed/bath suite, with a choice of five different floor plans, some with fireplaces.
Amenities:
Amenities at The Heritage include a 60'x20' heated indoor pool, whirlpool spa, landscaped outdoor garden terrace and a 28th floor sky deck, professionally-equipped fitness center with separate men’s and women’s locker rooms, steam room, and hospitality rooms with kitchens. A 24-hour doorman, concierge, receiving room with valet and dry cleaning services are provided, and high-speed Internet access is available. The Heritage’s Chicago Loop location is less than a block from Michigan Avenue and Millennium Park, with a private entrance for residents tucked within a landscaped garden adjacent to the Cultural Center.
