The Residences of the Ritz-Carlton at Boston Common
The Ritz-Carlton name has long been associated with five-star hotels, and it is now being extended to luxury condos. The Residences of the Ritz-Carlton at Boston Common offers 309 private homes located in two towers soaring above the hotel at the same location. In fact, developer Millennium Partners urges residents to think of the hotel and its services as an extension of their own homes. The new towers occupy two city blocks fronting Boston Common between Washington, Tremont, and Boylston Streets, and the floor-to-ceiling windows of the residences offer spectacular views of one of the nation’s most historic cities. The 38- and 40-story Ritz-Carlton Residence towers are only part of the complex, which also includes the 100,000-square-foot Sports Club/LA, a 19-screen Loews multiplex movie theater, fine restaurants, and world-class shopping. Residents are invited to take advantage of all of these amenities, as well as 24-hour doorman and concierge services, including to-the-door package delivery, restaurant catering and/or individual meals served in-home by a butler, access to the hotel’s business centers and services, and valet parking. A private entrance, separate from the hotel and other publicly-accessed areas of the complex, leads to the residential units.
Residents can select from a variety of floor plans offered at the Towers, ranging from 880-square-foot studios to 4,700-square-foot penthouses with four bedroom/six baths. Homes may include a library as well as a formal dining room for at-home entertaining or family gatherings, an informal breakfast room, balconies and terraces. All units have entry foyers, hardwood floors, imported marble finishes in bathrooms, and premium kitchen appliances. The Residences of the Ritz-Carlton is located in the very heart of Boston, with easy access to the city’s business and financial districts, as well as to its wealth of cultural and historic sites. The new towers occupy the only available space remaining on the Common and represent a new residential neighborhood as the city actively redevelops and revitalizes its downtown area. Prices start in the high six-figure range.
