101 Sky
The development and construction of 101 Sky has garnered a lot of attention in Philadelphia, for good reason. It is 20 stories tall, which makes it the only building taller than 12 stories that has received permission to be built in the Northern Liberties section of the city. Thus, the advertising team behind the project is capitalizing on the tagline, “Making the Sky the Best Place to Live.” However, it is not just the height of the condominium complex that is creating buzz. 101 Sky is combining architectural details that are distinctly different than any other residence in the city.
Visitors will immediately notice the stunning exterior, created by walls of glass. Once inside, the floor to ceiling windows provide an open and airy feeling, as if residents really are living in the sky. Because it is the highest building in the neighborhood, the windows capture both river and city skyline views. Each home features hardwood flooring throughout and 11 foot ceilings. The kitchens are designed to impress, with granite counter tops and breakfast bars, double-bowl stainless steel sinks, and high-end appliances. Home owners will also love the huge walk in closets, beautiful marble bathrooms, and the gas fireplaces that come in every residence. Each home also comes with secured, covered parking. The security system, complete with cameras, will be installed in the building, along with a doorman and concierge for added protection and convenience.
The Northern Liberties is one of Philadelphia’s most eclectic and trendy neighborhood – and it is only getting better. From its cultural attractions, such as galleries, to its hip and trendy boutiques, restaurants, and night spots, this section of town exudes artistic energy. The popularity of this section of town is a relatively recent phenomenon and demand for living space has dramatically increased.
