The Arden Group is in the process of building what will surely be the most opulent residential building ever constructed in Philadelphia. The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, located in the heart of Center City, will combine all of the amenities of staying at a five-star hotel with the comfort and conveniences of staying home.

Homeowners will be able to take advantage of unlimited car service, health and fitness centers, a spa, housekeeping, room service, and pet walking and babysitting services. Every home will feature sweeping views. Pre-construction prices for one, two, and three bedroom condos start at $450,000. 
The plans recently have been downscaled due to zoning concerns. Now instead of looking down on City Hall’s famous William Penn statue, residents will gaze up at it. However, the change in scale has not diminished the awe-inspiring plans for the homes’ interiors. Potential buyers will be able to largely determine their own unit’s details, based on their lifestyle. More than 40 percent of the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton were sold within just the first three weeks after being offered. Ground breaking is expected in early 2006. Construction is expected to be complete in the Summer of 2008.
