Symphony House
Construction is now underway on what will likely be Philadelphia’s most exclusive address. The Symphony House, located in the middle of Center City at Broad and Pine, will house 163 luxury condominiums, a 400-seat theater that will become the new home of the Philadelphia Theatre Company, and shops and restaurants.
The 31-story brick, granite, and limestone building will provide homeowners with fantastic amenities, including a glass enclosed year-round pool, a hot tub, massage and steam rooms, library, club room featuring a baby grand piano and big-screen television, and three dining salons that can be reserved for private or business dinners. Security and privacy will be ensured, thanks to 24 hour doormen and concierge service. Buyers will be able to be able to purchase secured parking spaces in a resident-only onsite garage.
Homes will range from 930 to 4,663 square feet. Prices start in the $600,000 and go to more than $4 million. Buyers can customize their floor plans and finishes. Each unit is designed with dramatic 9 and 10 foot ceilings and large windows. Most units will have terraces and fantastic views of the Philadelphia skyline.
The location of Symphony House is perfect for the sophisticated urban dweller. Symphony House homes are just steps away from art, music, fine dining, and shopping. A night on the town can begin just by taking the elevator down to the ground-floor theatre. For daytime strolls, elegant Rittenhouse Square is just a few blocks away.
The first condominiums will be available in the fall of 2006. Construction is expected to be fully completed in 2007.
