Waterfront Square Condominiums & Spa
Waterfront Square Condominiums & Spa is unlike any other condominium community in Philadelphia. When it is constructed, it will become the city’s first and only gated waterfront residential complex, featuring its own secluded, private three-acre riverfront park. The five tower community is currently under construction, just south of Penn Treaty Park along the Delaware River. The towers, ranging from 22 to 35 stories, will contain a total of 780 condominiums. The $280 million project will occupy Piers 36-39, providing a unique setting on the water.
The developers are calling their condos “classically proportioned residences.” The condominiums will feature oversized windows with breathtaking views of the Philadelphia skyline, Delaware River, and community park. Most will feature luxury bathrooms containing Whirlpool tubs, marble tile, custom fixtures, and pedestal sinks. The kitchens have been designed for true gourmets and offer islands with granite countertops in a choice of colors and stainless steel appliances.
This oasis amidst the bustling city features amenities galore, including a 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, year-round swimming pool, poolside café, and a shuttle service to Center City. The Waterfront Square Riverwalk will give homeowners a beautiful place to stroll and watch passing sailboats and ships. The complex is close to I-95, I-676, and the Ben Franklin Bridge. A secured gatehouse entry, with 24 hour attendant, allows residents to enter their secure gated parking spaces. Both valet and self parking is available.
Isle of Capri Associates, an Israeli team, is developing Waterfront Square. Two of the five towers have already sold out, while the third tower is 95% reserved. The fourth and fifth towers are 65% and 35% reserved, respectively. Prices currently range from the low $400,000 to $10million for the complex’s must luxurious penthouse. Construction is currently underway and should be complete sometime in 2008.
