The Residences at Hotel Palomar
The Residences at Hotel Palomar is an exciting new residential complex that offers buyers a chance to experience a lifestyle that can’t be found anywhere else in Dallas. This building is the only mixed-use project in the city to provide a combination of luxury homes, boutique shops, and fine dining. The exquisite homes are part of a full-scale renovation of the Hotel Palomar, formerly known as the Mockingbird Hilton Hotel. While the grandeur and integrity of the original building will be retained, the new technology and contemporary finishes will give the complex a distinctly modern ambiance.
Buyers will be able to choose from three styles of homes - 55 upscale condos, four villas with private entrances, and 12 amazing loft homes. The homes range in size from 1,000 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet. Preconstruction pricing starts at $350,000. The largest homes are listed at $2.5 million. So far, more than 25 percent of the units have been sold.
Standard features of the homes include solid red oak doors, hardwood flooring, granite counter tops, and Kitchen-Aid Premium stainless steel appliances. High ceilings, crown molding, and custom cabinetry add to the feeling of sophisticated elegance.
Residents will be able to enjoy many hotel-like amenities, such underground parking, and 24-hour concierge service. Linda Tycher and Associates Landscape Architecture have designed an oasis-inspired, park-like setting, giving homeowners a five acre private retreat. A private courtyard, complete with an infinity edge pool, will also be available to residents. Two four-star restaurants, a New York-based urban spa, and high-end retail will be available to both homeowners and hotel quests.
The Residences at Hotel Palomar is conveniently located near SMU, Highland Park, DART Rail, Mockingbird Station, and the upcoming Katy Trail Extension. Construction of both the private residences and hotel is expected to be complete in the summer of 2006.
