Stoneleigh Residences
Since 1923, the Stoneleigh Court Hotel has been a symbol of the good life in Dallas. Designed in the Beaux Arts style, the building is one of America’s “Historic Hotels,” located between the city’s upscale Turtle Creek residential area and the Arts District, and only steps from Uptown streetcars for easy access to a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment. While the Stoneleigh Hotel continues to pamper its world-famous guests, the Stoneleigh Residences, a 21-story luxury condo, is currently under construction on adjacent land. Condo residents will have direct, hard-wired access to the Stoneleigh Hotel’s kitchen and other hotel services, as well as a range of amenities all their own.
On the outside, Stoneleigh Residences is designed to resemble the older hotel, using the same natural stone and ornamentation of the original, but with its own porte-cochere entrance. The 97 residential units offer pre-wiring for multimedia, telecommunications, high-speed Internet, and security systems. Many of the very spacious residences are served by private elevators with security card access, similar to the residents’ underground garage–each unit can claim two parking slots. Door and concierge services are provided round the clock. The Resident Amenity Level includes the Stoneleigh Constellation Room, a private lounge with a catering kitchen; a fitness center; spa/yoga room; business center and furnished boardroom; private entertainment and conversation areas. In addition, the Stoneleigh Oasis is a residents-only, multi-level, landscaped terrace with a lap pool, heated spa, and “Acapulco deck” with jetted water features and a game lawn, as well as a canopied grill area.
Residences are Texas-sized one- and two-bedroom units starting at 1,149 square feet and moving upwards. Buyers can select design schemes that match natural stone flooring and finishes (granite in kitchens, marble in bathrooms) with light or dark custom wood cabinetry. Many units feature gas fireplaces, and all have designer lighting fixtures and generous storage and closet space, with his and her walk-in closets in most master suites. Floor plans offer separate dining rooms, and many have dens or enclosed studies. All provide roomy terraces. Many units have both “Romeo” and “Juliette” balconies to take advantage of the breathtaking views of both Downtown and Uptown Dallas.
